Is it an accident what one finds?
The dead birds, nests, branches, and tree trunks that comprise the works were found in Prospect Park, on NYC streets or in the trash on the sidewalks.
A significant portion of many of the bird's nests are constructed from trash, good material to insulate and strengthen their nests. Much of this trash does not decompose and the birds found dead that I photographed were likely poisoned or crashed into the glass in the tall buildings.
I am interested in things that are disappearing.
